On 3rd January a Facebook user known as Vicky Mittal, who is a politician from Indore posted a picture stating a historical connection that says Raja Anangpal (founder of Lal Qila/Red Fort) is the maternal grandfather of Prithviraj Chauhan. The post is getting viral on social media platforms and hooked up with sarcastic comments on it.

The claim is quite fake as Raja Anangpal Tomar belonged to Tomar Dynasty and had shared no relation with Prithviraj Chauhan. In the article of Indian Express, the history, legacy of King Anangpal Tomar is described.
