A video of Ravi Kishan, a member of Lok Sabha and renowned actor is getting viral everywhere on the internet. In this, he is shown speaking for “Maharaj Ji” also known as Yogi Aditya Nath.

He stated, “पर्चा भर के चल जइह न बहुत बेज्जती होई” which roughly states that, you shall leave the place after filling the form, else it will be a disgrace. This can be heard in these tweets below

People all over the internet are trolling Kishan for such statements.

Fact Check:

When we listened to the whole video, rather than the clipped part of the video we found an entirely different meaning of video.

In the interview given to NEWS 24 Ravi Kishan stated, “हम महाराज जी से बोले -केवल पर्चा भरकर चले जायें, यहां प्रचार मत करना बड़ी बेइज्जती होगी’ ‘उत्तरप्रदेश के इतिहास में महाराज जी की सबसे बड़ी जीत होगी’  which roughly sates, “’We told Maharaj ji – just fill the form and go away, it would be a disgrace to campaign here’ ‘Maharaj ji’s biggest victory in the history of Uttar Pradesh’: BJP MP Ravi Kishan .”

Conclusion:

Hence, the video getting viral on social media is a clipped video from the statement of Ravi Kishan given interview to NEWS 24.

Claim Review: Ravi Kishan’s viral statement on Maharaj Ji.

Claimed by: social media users.

Fact Check: Misleading.
