Several twitter accounts have claimed that Akhilesh Yadav was one of the people to signed a petition to pardon Ajmal Kasab. Kasab part of a terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba who part took in 26/11 attacks.

Several users and BJP leaders posted the claim on Twitter.

Fact-Check:

However, after spending a considerable amount of time online to find news articles and petitions, we were unable to find anything online.

A 2012 Indian Express article stated that more than 200 people had signed the said petition but Akhilesh Yadav was not one of them.

Since the base for this claim could not be established, this claim is fake.
