A post has recently surfaced on social media platforms indicating that Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reprimanded Americans about the geography and asserted that the US economy would fall if Mexicans stopped purchasing commodities from American companies.
An account named Real African Books posted an image of Mexican President on facebook and wrote: ” Mexican President Claudia Chenbaum addressing Trump:
« So, you voted to build a wall… Well, dear Americans, even if you don’t understand much about geography, since America to you is your country, not a continent, it’s important that you discover, before the first brick is laid, that there is, beyond that wall: 7 billion people”

In the probe, the DFRAC team found this post to be fake.
We conducted a keyword search on Google in this regard. No reports have come to light in support of the above-shared post mentioning “they will be begging us to break down the ugly wall”.
For further investigation, we examined the X handle of the Mexican President and discovered that no such updates or tweets have been made regarding this post.

Conclusion
It is clear from DFRAC’s fact-check that the viral post that implies Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reprimanded Americans about the geography and asserted that the US economy would fall, is completely fake as no such credible evidence has been found supporting this post.
