Fact Check: CBSE board exams are all set to begin?

A notice is circulated all over the internet, at the time of COVID-19. When all the schools and colleges are closed due to a pandemic. CBSE (The Central Board of Secondary Education) has announced the date of the class X and XII examinations.

The notice states that the board exams for classes X and XII will commence from 4TH May 2022 (Wednesday). Moreover, the datasheet too will be issued soon.

The notice also states about the practical/project/internal Assessment of class XII  exams starting 1st March 2022 (Tuesday)

Fact Check:

CBSE itself came forward to claim this notice fake. As no such circular is issued by CBSE on their post they have considered it as Fake under the hashtags “ #cbseforstudents #exams  #fake #fake #CBSE. Also captioned it as “Fake News Alert.”

India Today also termed this notice as fake and also advised the students to consult the official website of CBSE i.e. cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in
