A twitter account that claims to be a news media outlet named Pratahkal Live shared the claim with the video.

Fact Check
On investigation, the claim was found to be false. On a reverse image search of the keyframes from the video, we found the video posted on an Instagram account dated Nov 14, 2023, with the caption, “Kalesh b/w Two groups of Hostel boys with Crackers during Diwali Celebration.”
Taking this lead, we found multiple media reports of News 18 and Money Control, which confirm that the video originates from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam in Kerala. The footage captures a shocking display of Diwali celebrations, where hostel students engage in a firecracker showdown. The intense and risky nature of the celebration has left internet users stunned.
Conclusion
