The blast that appeared to be a cylinder explosion resulted in the death of one Avinash Shukla, who was a Deputy Director of India’s R&AW.
An account named PSYWAR Bureau shared an image of the recent blast and wrote: “A powerful explosion in a residential building in Gwalior left 1 dead and 2 injured, including a woman. According to local authorities, the blast that appeared to be a cylinder explosion resulted in the death of one Avinash Shukla, details about whom were not disclosed by the Police. but sources claim Skukla was a Deputy Director of India’s R&AW”.

In the probe, the DFRAC team found the claim about the death of Avinash Shukla, who was the deputy director of Indian RA&W, to be fake
We performed a keyword search in this regard and came across some latest reports by Jagran, Nai Duniya, and Live Hindustan. As per reports, a blast occurred in flat number L-7 on the first floor of Legacy Apartments in the area of Gwalior at around 2 am late at night. The blast was so powerful that three nearby flats were also damaged and left two individuals injured, namely Ranjana and Anil Jat, who were present at the time of the blast in the flat.

Not only this, a close examination of the latest reports revealed no mention of Avinash Shukla’s death. Moreover, the name of Avinash Shukla as the deputy director of Indian RA&W, did not appear in our search results, conducted on Google.
Certainly, two individuals injured in the recent blast mishap of Gwalior.
Conclusion
It is clear from DFRAC’s fact-check that the above shared claim is completely fake as no such facts have been reported in the latest reports.
