It alleges that during a March 2013 large-scale military exercise, Indian paratroopers faced challenges, resulting in tragic accidents, fatalities, and some individuals missing due to parachute deployment struggles.

The DFRAC team performed a reverse search analysis to verify the claims and concluded that the video is mere fabricated propaganda. The visuals shown in the video are sourced from various locations, including scenes of a crowd holding Pakistan’s national flag.

One of the key clips in that video was taken from the 70th Republic Day celebrations in 2019.

Users on X noticed inaccuracies in the video, highlighting that crowds holding the Pakistani flag were misrepresented as Indian.

Another key clip was found on other sites including youtube in different languages and not shown in connection to the Indian military fleet, throwing doubt on the veracity of the claim once more. 

Conclusion

The claim has been proven false on several accounts and tarnishes the image of the Indian military capabilities.
