Viral video showing Inappropriate behavior of an Indian in Japan?
A video showing the inappropriate behavior of a man toward a lady caught on camera is making rounds on social media platforms. The video has drawn a massive reaction on the Internet. Users who are sharing this video, claim that this is how Indians behave In Japan.
An X account named The Saviour, who shared numerous videos misleadingly in the Past, has posted this video on X with the caption: “INDIAN IN JAPAN”
In addition, several users were found sharing this video and making similar claims.
Fact-Check
The DFRAC team investigated the viral video by converting it into some keyframes. We reverse-searched these keyframes on Google. We discovered that the video has also been uploaded on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site, with captions in the Chinese language. Moreover, the identity of man has not been cited anywhere. Thus, it cannot be concluded the man seen in the video is Indian.
Conclusion
It is clear from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the viral video claiming an Indian in Japan is misleading.
