To know the truth behind this video, DFRAC team investigated by putting the key frames from the video on Google and reverse searched it on Google. We found the video coverage of the same incident covered by 2 media houses.
One Media house named राष्ट्रतेज Marathi News shared the video on youtube and wrote the description that “The villagers gave chop to the missionaries who came to convert to Depoli village in Bhiwandi”
Another media house named Zee Odisha News has also shared the same video with the caption “Missionary people went to convert, villagers gave such a reaction”.
Conclusion
From the fact check of DFRAC, it is clear that the social media user claim is misleading as people in this video are Christian missionaries not social workers.
