Fact-check:
To check the authenticity of this viral claim, the DFRAC team searched for some keywords on Google, but could not find any news related to this claim.

Then the team visited the official website of ASI and found that the Tamrlekha inscription of Sohgaura is an ancient inscription written on a copper plate found near Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. The ASI report link is available for reference.

However, during this search, the team found media reports about the discovery of a 500-year-old Buddhist mummy in Himachal Pradesh.

While reverse-searching the image of the mummy used by social media users, the DFRAC team found that the same image was used in a report published by website ibtimes.co.in in April 2014. This report is about a mummy found in Egypt which has brain but no heart.

Conclusion:
This fact-check by DFRAC makes it clear that the claims made by Uday Thakur and other social media users about finding a mummy similar to the one found in Egypt near Gorakhpur are false.
