A video is currently circulating on social media featuring a conversation between three individuals. In the video, an English man is heard inquiring about a young girl’s age and how she likes it in her current location with her father. The man wearing a white Jubba then responds by stating that the girl is not his daughter but rather his wife. Many individuals on social media are using this video to target the Muslim community.

A user tweeted, “People take inspiration from those they believe in. Everything is fair.”

another user too shared the same video with the similar claim.

#Feminism is cool when they target Sanatan Sanskriti but when it comes to target the fault lines of #Islam then it is fine for feminists. https://t.co/IQ995ivyHX

A verified user, Sabloktantra, refuted these claims and identified the video as a conspiracy against the Muslim religion. The individual wrote, “This is a conspiracy to defame people during the holy month of Ramadan, nothing more.”

Fact Check:

To investigate the video, DFRAC team analyzed different frames and conducted reverse-searches. The team found the same video on the YouTube channel “The Bayne Train” with the caption “She is not my daughter…. Designated Survivor.” The video was uploaded three years ago on this channel. Moreover, a search for “Designated Survivor” revealed that it is an American television series available on Netflix that was created by David Guggenheim.

Conclusion:

Based on this research, DFRAC concluded that the video was not real and was actually part of a television series that was not intended to discriminate or attack Muslims during Ramadan. Additionally, the video is three years old, making the claims by social media users misleading.

Fact Check: No, Pakistan’s J-10C Did Not Shoot Down an Indian Rafale Over the LoC Dramatic silhouette of a Chinese-made J-10C fighter jet in mid-flight against a vivid sunset sky, with its afterburner trail illuminated in the twilight. The image was featured in a viral social media post by a Pakistani defense account, falsely claiming that the aircraft had successfully shot down an Indian Rafale jet during an aerial encounter over the Line of Control (LoC).
