A video is getting viral on social media in which Professor Christopher Queen, lecturer at Harvard University for Buddhism and World Religions, can be heard raising the slogans of Jai Bhim at the United Nations. In the video, he also mentioned that it was an honour for him to say Jai Bhim in United Nations.
Netizens are sharing this video with the claim that after Professor’s speech, a law was passed against Brahmins in the UN.
A verified user Ram Chauhan captioned the video as, “Law passed against Brahmins in America!!Slogans of Jai Bhim were raised in Parliament. Brahmin will remain in America as a human being, not as a superior. If Brahmins are found guilty of religious frenzy, there is a provision of severe punishment..Jai Bhim.”

The DFRAC team was also enquired about the same video on WhatsApp.
Fact Check:
To check the authenticity of the viral video, the DFRAC team did a keyword search and found this video on a YouTube channel named ‘VR Ambedkarite’ that has nearly 17k subscribers.
After listening to the whole speech by the Professor, we found that he did say Jai Bhim, but nothing was stated against Brahmins and neither anything was said on law against Brahmins.
In the video, Prof Christopher was praising king Luther and B.R. Ambedkar and their work for humanity.
Then, the DFRAC team did specific keyword search for the law and found that no such law has been made against Bhramins in the UN because if this would have been the case, the mainstream media must have covered it.
Conclusion:
Though the video being shared is real, but the claim of a law being passed against Brahmins at the UN is fake.
