Fact Check:
To investigate the viral claim DFRAC team saw the screenshot closely and found the website on the top of the screenshot it was written as, “Cadbury.com.au/product/halal.”
When we searched the full form of “au” we found it to be of “Australia” and not India.
On further, investigation we found the thread from Cadbury India itself denying all the claims of containing beef in the Cadbury.
In which they have clarified that all the products manufactured and sold in India are 100% vegetarian also the green dot on the wrapper signifies the same.
Conclusion:
Through our investigation and by Cadbury itself coming forward denying the claim proves the claims of beef is being used in the Cadbury’s chocolates is fake.
