Fact check: A misleading claim made on Samajwadi Party for mob molestation taking place in UP

UP elections have emerged many fake and misleading claims since the beginning of February 2022. A video of mob molestation is going viral on social media. In the video, a group of boys are harassing two females and users are accusing Samajwadi Party of the hideous act and are appealing help from UP Police.

After reverse researching, we got a tweet from UP police sharing the same video and mentioned that the incident took place in 2017 as per the Rampur Police. UP police also added that the action has already been taken under the NSA act.
