Fact Check
Upon investigation, we found the claim to be fake. We investigated the press briefing by the Iranian spokesperson in the same attire on the dates Jan 12, 2026, and November 2025. The full Persian-language transcript of the Iranian Foreign Ministry press briefing circulated with this claim was reviewed and translated into English. The text can be viewed here.
Nowhere in the briefing does the spokesperson: Thank Pakistan, or Mention India, or refer to any regional country by name as having “stayed silent.” The briefing focuses on: Criticism of European countries for double standards, Allegations against the United States and Israel, Regional issues involving Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Venezuela, and international law, Iran’s position on protests, diplomacy, and foreign interference.
Another press briefing published on the Iranian press agency website in November 2025 was cross-checked. The spokesperson appeared in the same attire; however, there was no mention of India, nor was any regional country referred to by name as having “stayed silent.”
We also cross-checked the audio of the video and found it to be digitally altered. While other Iranian officials, in separate statements or interviews, have publicly appreciated Pakistan’s stance on regional issues, those remarks are not part of this specific video or press briefing.

Conclusion
Thus, the claim was found to be fake. No video has been found in which the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson makes such statements in English or conveys any claim of this nature. The audio of the claimed video was found to be digitally altered.
