A viral video claims to shows @DelhiPolice personnel allegedly protesting outside the police headquarters on November 2, 2026, against the transfer of two officers following a scuffle between police personnel and lawyers at Shahdara police station.
On X, an account with username @Control_Krishna posted this video with caption: “Delhi Police is protesting against Delhi Police at the Delhi Police Headquarters.”

Fact Check
The DFRAC team found that the video is unrelated to the claim posted. Although Delhi Police personnel did protest against the transfer of two officers on November 2, 2026, the viral video is unrelated to that demonstration. A reverse image search traced the video to a November 1, 2026 Facebook post by Sangecha Navghan, whose bio mentions Gujarat Forest.
The same account had also shared several other videos showing uniformed personnel protesting at the same location. Further investigation revealed that the footage shows a protest by Gujarat Forest Department (@GujForestDept) personnel in Gandhinagar.
An Indian Express report dated November 3, 2026, stated that frontline forest department employees were demonstrating over several demands, including risk allowance, removal of pay disparities between Van Rakshaks and Van Pals, payment for working on public holidays, an increase in staff strength and the clearance of pending transfer applications.
A BBC Gujarati report dated October 31, 2026, also carried visuals from the same location and linked them to the forest department protest.
Verified media channels have also reported a protest organised by the Gurjarat Forest Department which can be seen here, here, and here.
Additionally, geolocation of the site visible in the viral footage confirmed that it is Satyagrah Chhavani in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
Conclusion:
The viral video shows a protest by Gujarat Forest Department personnel in Gandhinagar, not Delhi Police personnel protesting against the transfer of two officers.
