Our investigation found the claim to be false. A closer review of the video shows a signboard written in Bengali. When translated, it reads “Madrasatul Ehsan Al-Islamia.” We verified this with our Bengali fact-check team, who confirmed that the institution shown is Madrasatul Ihsan Al-Islamia, Samair, located in Dhaka, Bangladesh, not India.
Additionally, we checked the official records of the West Bengal Madrasah Board and found no registered madrasa under this name in West Bengal.
