Fact-Check

A reverse-image search of the key-frames generated from the viral video led us the latest video on YouTube account of excelsior news showing similar visuals from the viral video. The video’s caption read: “Banihal: 3 ITBP Personnel Injured As Truck Plunges Into Gorge”

Reports from Amar Ujala, Greater Kashmir and Daily Excelsior.com

Upon investigating further, we found some latest reports from Amar Ujala, Greater Kashmir and Daily Excelsior.com.

According a recent report published by Greater Kashmir, four persons including three jawans of ITBP were injured after a private truck they were travelling in, rolled down near Kharpora village in Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. The truck was on way to Kashmir valley from Jammu.

Furthermore, latest reports from Amar Ujala and Daily Excelsior.com also asserted similar facts about the truck accident in Banihal.
