A widely circulated video on X shows an express train being pushed by some passengers. The video has been shared by several users alleging that passengers pushed the train and made it run on the tracks in Bihar

Fact-Check

Upon reversing searching the keyframes generated from the viral video, the DFRAC found some latest reports by Deccan Herald and Lokmattimes. As per reports, Fire broke out in the Patna-Jharkhand Passenger train on Thursday, June 6 & passengers were seen pushing the train to save the other coaches from burning.

The incident took place at Kiul Junction station in Bihar’s Lakhisarai. However, no injuries have been reported.

Conclusion

It is evident from DFRAC’s fact-check that the the viral video shows passengers pushing the train to save the other coaches from burning, not to make it run on the track.

Hence, the claim made by X users is false.
