Claim
A Pakistan-based user is claiming that Bangladesh has issued a communique in which it has warned Indian troops after they had abducted 4 Bangladeshi villagers from the Tripura border.

Fact Check
To check the authenticity of the viral claim, DFRAC did a keyword search: “Bangladeshi nationals cross into India.” We got recent news developments of how India’s BSF has apprehended four Bangladeshi nationals attempting illegal border crossing.

Here, is a report by Indian Express, dated 2 March 2025, stating that BSF has detained four Bangladeshi nationals in two separate instances in Tripura on Sunday.
The four arrested people have been identified as Daduni Chakma and Nandini Chakma, residents of Nutan Bazar in South Tripura district, and Bimal Chakma and Sushil Chakma, residents of Khagracheri in Bangladesh.
The BSF has informed by releasing a press communique, giving detailed information about the infiltration and the arrest.

Similarly, ANI News has also reported about this arrest and has given similar details about the arrest made by the BSF on the India-Bangladesh border in Tripura.
Additionally, the arrest of five more people was made, out of them two were Bangladeshi and others were Indians.
So, these news reports reveal that no Indian troops have abducted four Bangladeshi nationals.
Conclusion
It is clear by DFRAC’s fact check that India’s troops have not abducted any Bangladeshis and no such warning has been issued by Bangladesh against India. The viral claim is misleading.
Hence, news reports have made it clear that the four Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested by the BSF. These four Bangladeshis had entered India illegally in Tripura.
