Fact check:

The video shown is not coherent with the caption. The video neither clarifies the location nor the situation at hand being denoted as Islamophobia. This particular video is not from India, It is in fact a shot from Pakistan. After DRAC’s investigation, it was found that, in the video, a banner was seen with the name “PakQatar Tafakul”. PakQatar Tafakul is a Shariah-compliant alternative to conventional insurance. This company is Pakistan-based with all of it’s branches operating there and its headquarters being in Karachi.

Moreover, the same video has been used by multiple users all around the world tagging different locations of the world with different captions. Some posts even claim the place to be Gaza in Palestine ( here). Mekke_medine_istanbul on Instagram has posted the same video claiming the video was from Egypt (here).

Conclusion

This video is not from India and the claim is only shared to spread communal hatred.  The video has been used not only on Instagram but on multiple platforms like YouTube shorts to falsify information.
