One such video has surfaced online showing a police officer being brutally burned by the outrageous mob. Users on social media are fiercely sharing this video and claiming that anti-Israel protestors burned a police officer in London.

Fact-Check
By reverse-searching the Keyframes obtained after converting the viral video, the DFRAC team found that the same video was posted by a news website nbcLosAngles carrying some subtitles that stated that the viral video was related to the incident in Mexico where a man was found beaten to death by police. Moreover, the video was posted 3 years ago.
Media reports From the Guardian and VOA news
On Investigating further, we found some media reports published by the Guardian and VOA News revealing the reality behind the viral video.
Renowned news website The Guardian Published a report on 5 June 2020. In this report, the Guardian mentioned: “Mexicans have responded with outrage after a man was found beaten to death hours after he was arrested by police officers for not wearing a face mask in public. One protester poured a flammable liquid on the back of a motorcycle cop and lit the officer on fire, according to a video spread on social media by independent news outlet ZonaDocs. Police beat back the protesters with batons and shot tear gas at them”.
Moreover, as per a report released by VOA News three years prior, Protesters in Mexico clashed with police Thursday evening over the beating death of a 30-year-old man found hours after police arrested him for not wearing a face mask in public.
Video showed protesters in Guadalajara breaking through the government palace door, while others torched police cars. Police fired tear gas and used batons to try and control protesters.

It is clear from DFRAC’s Fact-check that the viral video claiming anti-Israel burnt a police cop in London is misleading. In fact, the video is related to the incident that happened three years ago in Mexico where protestors poured inflammable liquid on a police officer during a protest in response to the death of a man who was found beaten by the Police of Mexico.
