Fact-Check: Tv9 Kannada uses footage from Gaza Attack to depict it as visuals from Panjshir

On September 7, 2021, TV9 Kannada’s YouTube channel posted a video of what looks like an area being bombed. The caption roughly translates to “Fights are happening day and night in Panjshir.”
The video has been viewed 24,000 times on their YouTube channel.
Fact-check:
Upon reverse searching the key frames of the video, we found that the video had been recently posted by multiple users and news websites detailing the latest rounds of attacks in Gaza after the escape of 6 Palestinian prisoners for a jail.
Video posted by Sarah Hassan has 27,000 views.
Having all of the evidence in front of us, we can call TV9 Kannada’s claim false and misleading.
