Shah Rukh Khan’s grand entry video is not from Qatar FIFA World Cup- Read Fact Check

A video of actor Shahrukh Khan is getting viral on social media. In this video, Shahrukh Khan is seen entering an event and and large number of fans are seen cheering while welcoming him. It is shared with the claim that it shows Shah Rukh Khan’s grand entry in the Qatar FIFA World Cup. 

A user on Twitter writes, “After the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Shah Rukh Khan’s entry happened like this.. @iamsrk in all the countries of Middle East Has a huge fan following… #KingKhan #ShahRukhKhan #FIFAWorldCup #Qatar2022.”

Fact Check: 

As soon as actor Shah Rukh Khan gets down from his car and reaches a stage,DFRAC team found  a sign ‘Kalyan Jewelers’  in the background. 

On further investigation we used some keywords and found this video on the official YouTube channel of Qbiz Events dated 20th May 2018 

Grand Entry Of Shah Rukh Khan ( SRK ) At Kalyan Jewellers Opening In Doha – Qatar – Qbiz Events 

According to the Description of the video, Shah Rukh Khan made a grand entry in Doha, Qatar for the opening of ‘Kalyan Jewellers’. Shah Rukh Khan arrives on stage amidst hundreds of fans in Doha for the inauguration of the new ‘Kalyan Jewellers’ outlet in Doha. 

Conclusion: 

Through the investigation of our team we found: 

  1. The video is from Doha where inauguration of the new ‘Kalyan Jewellers’ took place 
  1. The video is not of recent times but from the year 2018.
