A claim is going viral on social media that Shahrukh Khan has appealed that his house will be sold if the Pathan movie flops. Sharing the claim Former President Hindu Yuva Vahini Gujarat Pradesh, Vikash Ahir said, “Shahrukh Khan made an emotional appeal! If Pathan flops, his house will be sold Let’s all help him sell his house together! #BoycottPathan.”
Soon his tweet got viral with more than 1.8K retweets and 7.6K likes. Moreover, the comment section was filled with derogatory remarks about Shahrukh and his upcoming movie Pathan.
Fact Check
On a simple search, the DFRAC team did not find any such statement by Shahrukh Khan. Further, the DFRAC team looked at Shahrukh’s official Instagram and Twitter handles but we did not find any such statement by Shahrukh Khan.
These days Shahrukh is busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie Pathan. Due to the boycott trend, a lot of negativity is being seen on social media for the Pathan movie. However, Shahrukh Khan has not said that his house will be sold if Pathan flops. Therefore, the viral claim is wrong
