A video of a government primary school in Sambhal is becoming viral on social media. In this video, the development, cleanliness, maintenance, and facilities of the school can be seen in good condition. This school was even looking better than convent and private schools.

While sharing the video of this school, social media users are telling it the development of Yogi government. A verified user named Tanmay Shankar wrote – “These are some photos of Primary School, Asmoli, District Sambhal Uttar Pradesh. In the Yogi government, the work is not done for show, but for the progress of the state. It is fortunate that there is hardly any such government school in Delhi or else the owner of Delhi would have published the news in NYT. “(English Translation)

😆 pic.twitter.com/EjODkdT0Rg

At the same time, another user wrote – “This video is from the primary school of Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, but this school never made headlines in the media … because Babaji believes in work not in propaganda ….”

At the same time, another verified user wrote – “Primary school picture of Sambhal of UP”.

Fact Check:

To fact-check the video going viral, we did some keyword searches on YouTube. We found a video of the same school uploaded on youtube channel oneindia hindi on 16 October 2016. In this video also the school can be seen developed and well equipped.

At the same time, on searching more in this context, a post was found by Lallantop’s journalist Anshul Singh. According to Anshul- “The hi-tech primary school of Sambhal district in UP, the videos and pictures of which are being shared, were actually built before 2017 and mostly without government expenditure. Watch the interview given by school Principal Kapil Malik to The Lallantop during the 2017 assembly elections.”

— Anshul Singh (@anshulsigh) September 3, 2022

At the same time, Anshul has also posted a link to a YouTube video. Which was uploaded on Lallantop’s YouTube channel on 7 February 2017.

conclusion:

It is becoming clear from our fact check that the development of the primary school of Sambhal has already been done by the Yogi government. Therefore the claim being made by social media users is wrong.
