Fact Check: Truth behind the viral video of cops replacing the Pakistani flag with the Indian Tri-color flag.

Ananaya Sharma March 24, 2022
MIS 2(10)

A video went viral from Bengaluru. It can be seen in the video that the Bengaluru cops are supervising the removal of the Pakistani flag from a car and placing the Indian tri-color flag.

The video is getting maximum attraction of the people all over the Social media.

Many blue tick (verified account) users on Twitter like @rishibagree shared the video on his official account.

Bengaluru Cops removed Pakistani flag and replace it with Indian flag. The caption reads.

https://twitter.com/rishibagree/status/1506888860382351360?s=20&t=ls5vb8QggVtFnz8GsH1cew

Fact Check:

When we looked into the video closely we found that the flag is more identical to the All-India Muslim League. The only, but important difference is that the Pakistan flag has a white vertical stripe on the left. The flag seen on the car’s bonnet has a completely green background with a crescent and star facing towards the right direction.

Also, in the comment sections, many users were clever enough to spot the difference in both the flags.

Thirdly, the same video went viral in the year 2020 .

Tamil nadu jihadis enter Karnataka in a car with Pakistan flag. Bangalore police stopped, asked them to remove and changed National flag. Why Tamil nadu police not take any action against these Sleeper cells of Pakistan? Who tied their hands? or lake of knowledge? https://t.co/aNTL4Zp5NF

Fact Check: No, Pakistan’s J-10C Did Not Shoot Down an Indian Rafale Over the LoC Dramatic silhouette of a Chinese-made J-10C fighter jet in mid-flight against a vivid sunset sky, with its afterburner trail illuminated in the twilight. The image was featured in a viral social media post by a Pakistani defense account, falsely claiming that the aircraft had successfully shot down an Indian Rafale jet during an aerial encounter over the Line of Control (LoC). The claim was later fact-checked and debunked by Indian authorities as misinformation.
