Fact check: Did Russia bombard at Ukraine Headquarters?  

A video is going viral on social media regarding the Ukraine-Russia conflicts. In relation to the video, it was claimed that this video is of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. A huge explosion can be seen in the video.

Fact Check

To check the above claim, we converted the viral video into multiple keyframes with the help of the Inside tool. By reverse-searching images of individual keyframes, we found the video to be uploaded on August 4, 2020. The video is of an explosion that took place in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

At least 218 people were killed and 7,000 were injured in the explosion caused by the storage of a large amount of ammonium nitrate at the port of Beirut. In addition, there was property damage worth the US $15 billion.

Conclusion: Hence proving the claim is misleading.
