Pakistan-based accounts have shared a claim stating that a senior Chinese CCP official says that if India wants to survive, it must return Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh to China.

Fact Check
Upon investigation, we found the claim to be fake. We reviewed the official accounts of Chinese officials as well as media reports, and no such statement was found. A report by Onmanorama noted that, in a significant step toward resetting strained ties, India and China announced a series of measures to build a “stable, cooperative, and forward-looking” partnership.
These include reopening border trade, facilitating investment flows, resuming direct flights, easing visa procedures, and jointly maintaining peace along the frontier. Similarly, Reuters reported that the two countries would restart direct flights, boost trade and investment, reopen border trade at three designated points, and simplify visa processes, according to India’s foreign ministry.

Conclusion
The viral claim that a senior Chinese CCP official said India must return Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh to survive is fake. No official statement or report supports this claim. On the contrary, recent India–China engagements have highlighted efforts to stabilize relations through trade, travel, and cooperative measures.
