Tzipi Cohen during a joint military exercise in the Jammu region of Kashmir.

Another account War Analyst also shared similar claims.

Fact Check

Upon investigation, we found the claim to be Fake. We cross-referenced with the official Twitter account of Israel Embassy in India. The Israeli Embassy clarified that the circulated statement is fake and no such incident occurred.

The purported “Note Verbale” bears the signature of Noar Gilon, who served as Israel’s Ambassador to India until 2024. The current ambassador is Reuven Azar, who indicates that the document is outdated and fraudulent.

Furthermore, a report by the Times of India published Apr 30, 2025 informed that the Israeli Embassy in India on Wednesday denied issuing a note verbale to the Ministry of External Affairs, in which it accused an Indian Army officer of sexually assaulting Israel Defence Force (IDF) personnel during a joint military exercise in Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir and termed it “fake news.”

The Israeli Embassy in India emphasised the “solid bond” between the two nations and said that “haters” who resort to fake news will not succeed in harming it. Notably, the note verbally shared on social media was signed by Naor Gilon, who previously served as Israel’s Ambassador to India.
In a post on X, the Israeli Embassy in India stated, “Unbelievable! The bond between Israel and India is so solid, that haters resort to fake news to try to harm it. It won’t work.”

Conclusion

The claim that the Israeli Embassy issued a diplomatic protest accusing Indian Army Colonel Kamaldeep Singh of sexually assaulting an IDF officer is completely false. The Israeli Embassy has officially denied the allegation, calling it fake news. The supposed document was forged, and no such joint military exercise had taken place in Jammu & Kashmir.
