Fact-Check
To investigate the viral claim, the DFRAC team searched some keywords on Google related to this claim and found some media reports from Rising Kashmir, ETV Bharat and The Republic.

A report by Rising Kashmir stated that the Indian Army had inducted advanced ‘Kamikaze’ drones in Jammu and Kashmir to bolster its counter-terrorism efforts, officials confirmed.
A senior Army official told Rising Kashmir that the drones, recently inducted into the region, are designed to identify, track, and neutralize terrorist threats with precision strikes. These autonomous aerial systems are now being deployed in terror-prone areas, including the Line of Control (LoC), to enhance surveillance and pre-empt attacks by eliminating infiltrators before they can strike.
Furthermore, according to the reports by ETV Bharat and The Republic, the Indian Army has inducted another high-tech gadget, the Kamikaze High-Speed Drone, which was unveiled at the recently concluded Science and Technology Expo at IIT Jammu. Weighing between 4 to 5 kg, the drone was capable of carrying up to 2.5 kg of weaponry, making it highly effective in targeting hidden enemies, such as terrorists in dense forests and rugged terrains, transforming security operations in the restive region.
Certainly, the Indian Army has deployed Kamikaze drones to counter terrorism in the terror-witnessing region.
Conclusion
It is clear from DFRAC’s fact-check that the viral claim alleging India’s deployment of Kamikaze drones in Jammu & Kashmir to suppress pro-freedom movements marks a dangerous new phase of militarization is completely false. The Army has deployed Kamikaze drones to neutralize terrorists and to make the region terror-free.
