On investigation, this claim was found to be misleading and fabricated. Multiple news outlets reported that when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Washington, he was indeed received by US officials including U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabard, U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Indian-origin entrepreneur and Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy as well. The imagery and accompanying statements from the White House and other official channels show that a delegation of government representatives was present at his arrival.

Also, on Thursday (local time), US President Donald Trump welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the West Wing lobby of the White House in Washington, DC. The two leaders shared a warm hug as they greeted each other.
In addition to meeting with US officials, PM Modi met with Elon Musk hours before his meeting with President Trump at the White House. During a bilateral meeting at Blair House in Washington, DC, PM Modi also interacted with Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s son, X Æ A-12.
