On investigation, DFRAC found a tweet carrying a statement from Wasim Chaudhry Assistant Chief Constable of the Greater Manchester police stating “Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault, assault of emergency worker, affray, and obstructing police”.
Furthermore, We also found reports from Sky News and the Guardian in this regard. According to reports, during our response, three officers were assaulted. One female officer suffered a broken nose and the other officers were forced to the ground and suffered injuries that required hospital treatment.
