A video has recently surfaced on the social media site X(formerly Twitter) showing the Indian Flag (Tiranga) being burnt by a Young boy. The video has been shared by several Pak-based handles on X with captions like the latest visuals from Kashmir and a special gift to Indians
An account with the username @NavCom24, officially withheld in India due to posting of Inciting content on social media, shared this video and wrote: “#EXCLUSIVE: Latest visuals from Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir. This is the ‘Aukat’ of India and its flag in the occupied valley”

Moreover, another account with the name Kashmir Urdu shared this video on X with the caption: “A special gift from Azad Kashmir to India” (Translated from Urdu)

Not only this, but we also found that numerous users quoted-requoted this video with similar captions.

Fact-Check
The DFRAC team investigated the viral video by reverse-searching its Keyframes on Google and found that the video has been available online since 2017. We found this video on YouTube with the date Sept 24, 2017

It is evident from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the viral video has been shared misleadingly on X(Twitter) It does not show the latest visuals from Kashmir. It was uploaded 7 years back.
