Fake news of abducting Indian Army Major goes viral
Intel Corps, a Pak-based media and news company shared an image on X(Twitter) and wrote: “Yesterday, Indian Army Major Manoj Kumar of Military Intelligence (MI) was abducted by unknown men from Srinagar, Occupied Kashmir”.

Fact-Check
The DFRAC team investigated the above viral news. No media reports have been found in this context. In addition, we have also examined the official handle of the Indian Army on X(Twitter) but didn’t get any tweet or post in this regard.
Conclusion
It is clear from DFRAC’s fact-Check that the viral news claiming Indian Army Major Manoj Kumar of Military Intelligence (MI) was abducted by unknown men from Srinagar is fake as no media report or tweet has been discovered regarding the above viral news.
