To verify the authenticity of this viral claim, the Dfrac reverse-searched it on Google. Meanwhile, we found an emotive post shared by Sangeeta Phogat from her official Twitter account. In a shared post, she wrote: “Messages of congratulations from all of you are reaching me, I am very emotional at this moment. Many thanks to all of you. This medal is not mine only. All are medals for all of you. I dedicate this medal to all the fighting women of the world who are fighting against crimes against women. Jai Hind”.
Moreover, the news website BBC Hindi published news with the headline: “Wrestler Sangeeta Phogat, who performed at Jantar Mantar, won a medal”. In this news, BBC Hindi revealed: “Indian wrestler Sangeeta Phogat has won the bronze medal in the Polic Imre and Varga Janos Memorial Ranking Series Wrestling Championship held in Budapest, Hungary.
