A video is going viral on social media showing a youth’s picture on a digital signboard. The screen shows a message that reads, “Crossed Red Signal,” and the next slide displays, “TN 0107, Fine of 1000/- 20.05.2022 12.00.”

Aviator Anil Chopra shared the video on his profile, advising people not to break traffic rules in Chennai, lest their faces be displayed on the public screen.

Fact Check:

We investigated the video by changing it into a keyframes. We found a similar video on Instagram. It was mentioned in the post that this video is a CGI based concept video, which is made on the basis of imagination.

On further investigation, we found several such media reports. In which it was confirmed that this is a concept video. The Economic Times reported that the Chennai Traffic Police believes that such an initiative can help people follow traffic rules.
