Aviator Anil Chopra shared the video on his profile, advising people not to break traffic rules in Chennai, lest their faces be displayed on the public screen.
Fact Check:
We investigated the video by changing it into a keyframes. We found a similar video on Instagram. It was mentioned in the post that this video is a CGI based concept video, which is made on the basis of imagination.
On further investigation, we found several such media reports. In which it was confirmed that this is a concept video. The Economic Times reported that the Chennai Traffic Police believes that such an initiative can help people follow traffic rules.
Conclusion:
Hence, it is clear from DFRAC’s fact check that the viral video is misleading because this video is computer generated based on imagination. There is no reality in the video.
