After the report of Hindenburg Research on Adani Group, the politics has become high in India. In both the Houses of the Parliament, the opposition parties targeted the government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lashed out at the government on the issue of Adani.
Meanwhile, a picture is becoming fiercely viral on social media. In this photo, a person can be seen with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Social media users are claiming that the person seen with Rahul in the picture is the founder of Hindenburg Research.
A Twitter user shared a similar picture while claiming the man was the owner of the Hindenburg Company.

Fact Check:
DFRAC team did a reverse image search and found many news reports sharing this image from the year 2018.
Hindustan Times published this report with the headline, “Rahul Gandhi discusses Kerala floods, GST with German minister in Hamburg.”
The report states, “Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who reached the German city of Hamburg on Wednesday as part of a four-day tour of the country and the United Kingdom, met Niels Annen, minister of state and member of Bundestag, the German federal parliament.
Conclusion:
From the report, it is clear that the person who can be seen with Rahul Gandhi in the viral picture is Niels Annen, minister of state and member of Bundestag, the German federal parliament. Hence, the claim by social media users is misleading.
