According to its Twitter bio مجلة المجتمع (@mugtama) is a community magazine distributed in more than 120 countries and was founded in 1970.
In the same vein, many other social media users have shared similar claims about the demolition of mosques in Delhi.
Fact Check
On the DFRAC analysis, the viral video was found to be old. Last year also the same video went viral with misleading claims. DFRAC has already done a fact-check of that video.
Various illegal structures were demolished after the Supreme Court orders in the Khori Gaon case. This mosque, like many other structures, was constructed illegally and therefore was demolished by the government authorities.
Furthermore, on keyword search DFRAC team has not found any such official statement about demolishing of 3000 mosques. Moreover, there are many other similar incidents where some structures were demolished in India which were illegal. There were many incidents in which temples were also demolished in India.
Conclusion
Giving communal colors to these incidents of demolishing illegal construction can trigger hatred between communities.
