Fact Check
On keyword search, the DFRAC team found a thread of a press conference from the verified handle of Ghaziabad Police regarding the same incident. While holding a press briefing, the Ghaziabad Police, revealed a false incident shown by a woman conspiring with her accomplices in a case related to Nandgram police station.
After the Police investigation, a confessional statement came from which it was clear that the woman along with a man Azad conspired against the accused. They came up with a fabricated story to implicate the accused with whom they are already involved in an ongoing property dispute. Now Police have arrested Azad and his companion Gaurav and Afzal. An Alto car that was used in the conspiracy was also seized.
Conclusion
The police have clarified that the rape complaint was nothing but a conspiracy against those five men. Hence, the viral claim that these Muslims raped a Hindu woman for two days is fake.
