Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to Gujarat. During this time, he will lay the foundation stone and devote many schemes and projects. At the same time, a video is getting viral on social media sites. In this video, it can be seen that PM Modi’s voice can be heard in the background, but there is no crowd at the rally. Those who are present at the rally are also going.

Sharing this video, senior Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan wrote- “Prime Minister’s huge election rally in Gujarat. A symbol of his growing popularity!” (English Translation)

Meanwhile, Many other users are sharing the same claim and mocking PM Narendra Modi

Fact check:

To analyze the originality of the viral video, the team of  DFRAC converted the video into multiple frames using the InVid tool. Then the team reverse-searched these frames. We found a video uploaded on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s official YouTube channel. The video was uploaded on October 9.

According to this video, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several development schemes in Modhera, Mehsana. It can be seen in the video that there is a lot of crowd at the rally and people are also sitting in the places where empty chairs have been shown.

At the same time, according to the news of Aaj Tak, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of many development schemes.
