Recently, on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, 8 cheetahs were brought from
Namibia was released in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh.
A video about these cheetahs was shared on Twitter by Samajwadi Party president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. He wrote “Everyone was waiting for the roar. But this turned out to be the cat aunt’s family.” (English Translation)
Apart from this, the same video was also shared from the Twitter handle of the Maharashtra Congress and wrote that the blind admirers had created such a brawl that the roar would be heard. But when the cheetah opened his mouth, it can be heard “MEOW”
Fact check:
To analyze the viral video, the DFRAC team first converted the video into a keyframe with the help of the InVid tool. Then reverse search image to different keyframes. As a result, the team found one such video on YouTube. The video was uploaded on YouTube in November 2021. However, no information was given about the video.

Meanwhile, the team also found this video on the official Facebook page of The Wildcat Century in the US. The name of these cheetahs was mentioned in the Facebook post. The video was uploaded on October 25, 2021.
Conclusion:
Therefore, it is clear from the fact check of DFRAC that the video shared by Akhilesh Yadav and Maharashtra Congress is fake.
