Lots of trends on Twitter urging people to boycott Bollywood. Several Social media users have begun utilizing anti-Bollywood hashtags, like #BoycottBollywood and #BoycottBrahmastra as they are having the notion that Bollywood people hurt Hindu sentiments.
Amid this ongoing trend, a video of Bollywood celebrities Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor has gained the attention of social media users.
In the video, it is claimed that Anushka Sharma has openly admitted that Ranbir Kapoor uses drugs to improve his performance.
A user stated, “Anuska Sharma revealed that druggie #RanbirKapoor takes drugs (COCAINE) on sets so he can be more upbeat before shoots Watching #Brahmastra is directly FUNDING druggie cartels in Mumbai for #KaranJohar #BoycottBrahmastra #BoycottBollywood.”
Many more users shared the same video under different captions and had more than 90k views since it was uploaded.

To check the veracity of the viral video, DFRAC desk used certain keywords to find the whole interview and found the one on the official YouTube channel of Headline Today with the caption, “In an interview with Koel Purie Rinchet, actors Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor speak about being famous, lack of privacy, and more.”
Through this video DFRAC desk found that Ranbir jokingly refers to Anushka as “the Anxiety Queen” and also added that she cannot engage in conversation without taking anxiety medication to which when later, Ranbir asks Anushka about himself, and she replied in a sarcastic manner . “I suppose he does drugs so he can be more positive since he is such an illegible person,”
Also, the video is from the year 2015, when Bombay Velvet was going to be released.
