These days a large number of videos related to rain and floods are becoming viral on social media. Meanwhile, a video of a cloudburst has surfaced. It was claimed that this video is from Karachi in the neighboring country of Pakistan.

A user shared the video on Twitter and wrote in Urdu that the scene of cloudburst in Karachi today (*کراچی میں ادل نے نی CLOUD BURSTING مناظر* #مجبور_عوام_عیاش_حکمران)

Fact Check:

To check the viral video, the DFRAC team first converted the video into keyframes with the help of the Invoke tool. After doing a reverse search image of the keyframe, the team found a similar video on YouTube.

This video was posted on July 21, 2019, by American photographer Kyle Beene on his YouTube channel.

Giving details about the video, Bene stated that he filmed the video during a cloudburst on August 23, 2018, just north of Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona.
