A video is going viral on the internet with lots of gold pieces of jewelry kept on a table and some policemen were seen around the table. Many social media users are sharing the video with the claim that these were found in an Income Tax raid at the house of one priest of Tirupati Balaji.
Meanwhile, sharing the video a Twitter user wrote, Jasmine wrote, “where are your eyes, gold is here #तिरुपतिबालाजीमंदिर. Out of 16 priests, there was an income tax raid at the house of 1 priest in which 128 kg gold and 150 crores cash, 77 crores diamonds were found.. !!!!”

Fact Check
On reverse image search of different frames of the video and keyword research we found a report of the Hindu with a screengrab as similar to the video. The title of the report is, “Police recover 16 kg of jewellery from graveyard, one arrested” and it was published on december 21, 2021.
Further, we also found the same video posted on Twitter by a verified account of @mahajournalist on december 20, 2021. And, the caption of the video is, “@VellorePolice has arrested a burglar, who drill hole into Vellore #Josalukkas jewellery store wall, decamp with 15kg gold and diamond jewels.”

Therefore, from out fact check analysis, it is clear that old video of incident with misleading claim. And, the video is related to theft in vellore not to the Income tax raid at the house of one priest of Tirupati Balaji.
