A piece of information is going massively viral on the internet with the claim that Aditya Thackeray has removed his ministerial designation from his Twitter bio amid political turmoil in Maharashtra. Further, sharing a clip on its official Facebook account, Zee News English wrote the caption, “Aditya Thackeray changes Twitter bio, removes minister post | Watch this update on Maharashtra political crisis.”

Likewise, a Twitter user Sudhir Suryawanshi wrote, “Interesting: Aditya Thackeray changes his Twitter profile status, removes minister, simply writes voice of youth…” Tagging @NewIndianXpress and @TheMornStandard.

Similarly, many other users have shared this claim about Maharashtra cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray.

Fact Check

During keyword research, we found a tweet from a account names Ms Aflatoon from August 28, 2020. Sharig a screenshot of the Twitter handle of Aaditya Thackeray wrote, “Why is “Minister” missing from Aditya Thackeray’s twitter profile??”

Hence, from the above Tweet, it is clear that Aaditya Thackeray has not removed the word Minister from his Bio recently.

Furthermore, we also found the archived version of twitter of Aaditya Thackeray of 2019 and 2020. There also the word minister has not been used.

Conclusion

Therefore, the claim of the users that he has removed the word Minister from his Twitter bio recently is misleading.
