On 5th June, a very tragic accident took place in Uttarkashi where at least 25 pilgrims from Penna, Madhya Pradesh died. After the tragedy, social media was flooded with many pictures of the accident. Meanwhile, an image of a bus accident is getting viral on the internet. Sharing the image social media users are claiming that, 25 pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh died in a bus accident.
Further, sharing the picture, a social media user Sanjay Satyaedra Pathak wrote,” the death of 25 pilgrims from our neighboring district of Panna in Madhya Pradesh on pilgrimage to Chardham in Uttarakhand after the bus going to Yamunotri Dham fell into the gorge. May God give peace to the departed souls. Om Shanti Santi!”
Similarly, another user Abhilash Pandey wrote, “The death of the pilgrims on the pilgrimage to Chardham in Uttarakhand after the bus going to Yamunotri Dham fell into the gorge. May God give peace to the departed souls.”

Fact Check
On reverse image search of the viral picture, we found the same image in an article by Amar Ujala dated 14th February 2022. The article was about Himachal: HRTC bus rolled into a ditch nd stopped after hitting eight trees.
Furthermore, we found the viral picture on the website of newshindi.
Conclusion
Hence, the viral picture is not of the accident where 25 pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh died . Therefore, from our fact check analysis it is clear that users are sharing this picture with a misleading claim.
