Through our research, we got to know that this video is from the year 2017 when the BJP delegation led by state president Dilip Ghosh was chased and Beaten allegedly by supporters of Binay Tamang in Darjeeling.

Conclusion: This is a true video of BJP leaders getting a beating from the people, but this video is neither from recent times nor is of Uttar Pradesh. The viral video is from Darjeeling in the year 2017.
