The Indian government has once again extended the ban on Islamic Research Foundation (IRF), an organization of staunch Wahhabi and Salafi scholar Dr. Zakir Abdul Karim Naik alias Dr. Zakir Naik, for five more years.
The Government of India has declared IRFs illegal under the provisions of Section 3(1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) 1967.
Recently, the Ministry of Home Affairs constructed a tribunal under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Delhi High Court DN Patel to inquire into the ban on IRF. Meanwhile, the ban on IRF was found to be correct in the investigation. According to the notification of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Zakir Naik and his organization IRF are involved in activities that threaten the security of the country, damage peace and communal harmony, encourage youth to commit terrorist acts. Moreover, he propagates his hardcore ideology through his satellite channel, Peace TV.
Further, Peace TV and various social media accounts telecasted all his misleading preaching. From where billions of people can see hear and read him. Due to this reason, not only India but Bangladesh, Canada, Sri Lanka, and the united kingdom also have banned Peace TV. Apart from this, he and his organization IRF also have a large network on social media. Consequently, official social media accounts of Zakir Naik and IRF are banned in India. But, Zakir Naik had already established a network in the country before leaving India, which is involved in the propagation of his ideology. Most importantly, this network works very efficiently and systematically.

But, from time to time the legal action against Zakir Naik is displayed as cruelty on the Muslim community. They also made attempts to give misleading messages to the Muslim community especially the youth that if a person like Zakir Naik is not safe in India then how can a common Muslim remain safe?
In the same vein, we will analyze some more Twitter accounts in this part. The major Salafi organizations and their chiefs are considered a supporter of Zakir Naik in India.

Faizan Ibn Sirajuddin has a Twitter handle by the name of @ibnsirajuddin. Which is working very secretly. There is no specific information about this account other than being active from Ahmedabad. The profile picture of the account on Twitter is also fake. But, we found many tweets in support of Zakir Naik and IRF on his handle.

Therefore, it is clear from seeing the tweet that he made numerous attempts to show Zakir Naik as the messiah of Muslims. Above all, Zakir was targeted for raising the voice of Muslims in India. Therefore, all his actions confirm that he is trying to gather support for Zakir Naik.
